Scotty's Real Estate is a family-owned and bilingual real estate office in Sint-Genesius-Rode. They specialize in the sale and rental of residential real estate in and around Brussels.
During the start-up process of the company in June 2020, Bernard (owner Scotty's) came to me asking to build a brand identity and website. After a few meetings about the positioning and strategy of the brand, I made three moodboards for a visual direction of the identity to be determined.
When we had a consensus for one of these moodboards, I designed the logo and chose a color palette.
Once there was a clear brand identity, I was able to develop the necessary print application in a consistent manner. I designed applications such as folders, business cards, real estate signs, mouse pads and brochures. However, it didn't just stop at print.
I also took care of the website design. There I started with a flowchart to map out all the necessary website pages. After that I got to work on the wireframes and mockups of the site.
I worked closely with a web developer (Bob Weichler) and a photographer (Bob Storms) during this project. That is why my tasks outside brand and website designer also included taking care of the organization (for photo and video shoots, meetings…) and project management.
"Bastien has done an excellent job in creating our website and developing our brand. He is involved in all processes and continues to adapt our website. His ideas and creations respond very well to the current needs of the market. Also in marketing Bastien is always involved in all our actions."
Scotty's also needed an icon set for consistent use across their website and office. In addition, I was also able to advise Scotty's on the design of their desks and the interior of their business spaces so that this was also in line with their brand.
The owners of the real estate office were very satisfied with the cooperation during the project and with the final result. To this day, I occasionally design print applications at Scotty's request.
